At Avalanche Sports, every Breckenridge Ski Rental Package that we supply is custom-tailored to the individual needs of our customer. We provide both Men's and Women's Specific Rental Skis, Snowboards and Boots, including the newest equipment on the market.
Simply put, we have the best Bike Rentals in Breckenridge, Colorado. Our rental fleet is updated each and every year with top of the line Mountain, Road and Path Bikes. We carry bicycles for every age and ability level.
WHO WE ARE
Many years ago it became apparent that Breckenridge would be our home. We all enjoyed working in both the ski and bike industries, so we "took the plunge" and opened our own shop: Avalanche Sports.
Our experience is extensive. We have run high-volume, lift-side ski rental operations, managed downtown full-service shops, and instructed nationally at the Ski Mechanic Workshop. The three of us collectively have over 60 years of experience working in every aspect of the ski and bike industries.
What you can expect at our shop is prompt, courteous service, at a tremendous value, provided by owners who have a vested interest in your positive ski experience. We answer the phones here (no automated systems––ever). We fit the boots, adjust the bindings, and tune the skis. The owners are always present.
The three of us believe being an independent shop makes a difference, and you will too. People visit Breckenridge for the unique ski town experience it provides, and Avalanche Sports will only enhance your visit to our town.

Our original ski rental shop, Avalanche Sports in Breckenridge, CO, is at the south end of town, conveniently located adjacent to Breckenridge's Peak 9 Base Area. Rent your skis and snowboards here, then hop aboard the Quicksilver Chair-lift for direct access to the slopes of Breckenridge.
The Avalanche Sports Breck South Store also stocks an array of ski and snowboard accessories. Housing our year-round bicycle service department, our South Store is just a short pedal from numerous singletrack trailheads as well as the Breckenridge Bike Path.

The North Store is our newest equipment rental shop at the north end of town near BreckConnect Gondola and the gondola skier parking lots. Pick up your ski and snowboard rentals from our North Store before enjoying a scenic gondola ride to the base of Peak 7 or Peak 8.
* This location is ideal if you are staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge, Paragon Lodging, or driving in for a day of skiing in Breckenridge.
